Waterproof Jelly Clitterific

It has been two months since I did my last sex toy review, and like Rocky in his latest comeback film (what number is it now anyway…Rocky 31?), I was itching to get back in the saddle.

My first impression of the Waterproof Jelly Clitterific was “wow…that’s big!” That, and the fact that it is hot pink (not my favourite sex toy shade, but it also comes in purple). The total length of the vibe is 10 inches, so we are talking large. However, the insertable section is only 6 inches, so after overcoming some initial shock, I realised that we were going to be okay. In actual fact, as it turns out, the size is perfect. Special praise to the girth of the vibe as well…at 1 ½ inches it still fulfils without being too much of an uncomfortable stretch.

I especially requested this product to test out because it has a very attractive and unique feature…an attached suction cup! Combine that with being waterproof and you have a winner in the kinky water-sports stakes. I gave it an extensive road test in the shower and it passed with flying colours. Attach that little sucker to the wall at just the right height and live out your wildest “being taken by a hunky guy in the shower” fantasy…it certainly worked for me anyway!

Another impressive feature about this product is the vibration control. Instead of your regular “hi”, “medium” and “low” levels, you can adjust your toy to just the right level with a control similar to adjusting the volume on your radio...nice touch. The strongest vibration is not world-shattering, but still very strong and capable of sending even the most seasoned Goody campaigner into a tizzy. One issue I noticed is that the vibration is centred low along the vibe shaft which slightly dulls the resultant pulsing at the tip. Given the designed purpose of the Clitterific however (for insertion use in the bath or shower), that is not a great problem, but if you are looking for a vibrator that will give your clit the tickle of a lifetime, choose a Rabbit or Hitachi Wand or some other vibe.

I love the hands-free aspect of the Clitterific. It allows you to let both of your hands roam freely for other purposes…something I really appreciated. Don’t think you are constrained to just using this vibe in the shower or bath or Jacuzzi…no ma’am. You can get creative where you stick the suction cup for all sorts of naughty adventures. I have heard reports that the suction cup sometimes has trouble staying in position, but I did not find that to be the case at all. Be it under water or “on land”, it didn’t come loose once (thank goodness!). When you let your imagination run wild about the possible locations and positions you can use the Clitterific in, you’ll see the potential as both exciting and impressive (washing machine anyone?). I’m still thinking of new ways to use it!

The 3 clit-ticklers are kind of in an awkward position; I am pretty sure I am put together the same as most women, and I found it a little difficult to get some enjoyment out of them. I needed to bend the vibe (which is relatively easy to do because it is super soft jelly) to let the ticklers reach their intended target, but when I was able to achieve touchdown it certainly added to the experience. It is something you have to work a little to accomplish, but when you are in the throes of orgasmic pleasure it’s certainly worthwhile to help send you over the edge. Still, it is a slight design boo-boo.

The only negative I found with the Clitterific is the fact that if you try to use it as a normal vibe by taking the suction cap off, you will notice a slight rattle. I checked around to make sure it wasn’t just my toy that did it, and by the sounds it is a standard complaint. I can rationalise that by remembering what this toy is intended for; after all, it is built with a specific purpose in mind, and generally that’s not lying on the bed clit-stimulating. Also, you can leave the suction cap on…it doesn’t really get in the way that much when you want to find alternative uses anyway.

All in all, this a fantastically unique addition to any goody collection. If you have a Jacuzzi or enjoy long hot baths or showers, I can certainly recommend it. In fact, in terms of single play water-sports, it’s probably the best product I’ve come across.
