Lashwand by Modelco

I have to say this is one of the handiest pieces of beauty equipment I have come across. Lashwand is a heated eyelash curler, and although relatively new to the market, it has landed with a splash.

Although I was reluctant to start with (because I do not like the idea of placing anything heated too near my eyes), it is safe and comfortable to use. The results look amazing, even for someone with quite short and ordinary eye lashes such as myself. I have never considered turning them into a feature, but Lashwand definitely did a great job.

I actually had a girlfriend ask me if I was wearing false eye lashes, which I guess in itself is a compliment.

Applied like you would mascara, it is simple to use and small enough to carry in your handbag easily. It is battery operated…handy for quick use and touch ups. The design is also quite slick, and looks similar to a tube of mascara. Although I was initially worried about the heating-near-eye factor, it is manufactured so that it will not overheat even on the highest temperatures, which I found reassuring.

Great product and reasonably priced (around $20US or $30AUD), Lashwand is a definite thumbs up addition to your beauty product menu.
