Michael Ninn and his studio, Ninn Worx, are producing porn on an entirely different level than any other director or studio in the world today. Why? Because he views porn and sex as erotic art (similar to how TEW views it), and his films reflect that belief with their stunning layout, acting and production values. As a woman who has a generally sceptical attitude towards porn, despite the fact I watch a stack of it every year and review it, I can honestly say that this is as good as it gets (and that is not a subtle dig…this is pretty damn good!).

So what entitles this film to such grandiose statements? Picture this piece of porn heaven, firstly with a list of what you won’t find.

No patronising attempts at stupid storylines, or plots with holes so big you could ram a John Holmes sized monster-cock through them. No corny dialogue or pathetic attempts at “mainstream” acting by the players. No cheesy “du-du-doop” soundtracks which belong in the 1970’s. No visibly drug-fucked (or otherwise desperate), undernourished, generally unattractive or over cosmetically-enhanced freaky actors. No depiction or even a hint of the women involved not enjoying themselves, or being forced to do things that they obviously feel uncomfortable with (and with the amount of porn I watch, I can pick up the subtle indicators). And best of all, no short changing of the customer who buys the DVD with a rushed or paltry 3 scene, 60 minute limit.

So what WILL you find? Let me lay it out for you as best I can, although my words will still not do it the justice it deserves. Picture a spacious white walled, one room set with a stunning combination of primary and neutral colours, containing only a beautiful four poster bed and designer sofa. Immediately the scene is set as being sexy, and classy. As I mentioned before, there is no story line, just smoking hot love-making from start to finish. Some people will claim that this is a drawback when it comes to enticing women to view porn; that the lack of a tangible plot will lessen the appeal. In my opinion, nothing could be further from the truth. If I want a great story I will watch Gone With The Wind; with this production you know what to expect, and you get it in bucket-fulls without any patronising or half-hearted storylines to detract from the experience (let’s face it, porn films and gripping storylines at this point in time do not correlate). This removes the need for the actors to “act”, so they can concentrate fully on doing what they do best. The results are believable and completely immersing performances, with what I feel are many, and real, orgasms. Overlaying this action is a mesmerising soundtrack with tribal and contemporary songs that add a mystical allure to the scenes; as usual with Ninn Worx, nothing is spared with the score and it is a home run hit. The actors are all attractive and sexy, with dazzling wardrobes, and very pleasant to watch. Lastly, you get a full two hours, 5 scenes worth of show with some excellent extras on the DVD (interviews, behind to scenes footage, photo gallery and previews), equalling excellent value for money.

The first scene opens up with the beautiful Gauge dressed in a gorgeous black baby doll with matching thong. Gauge has been around the industry for a few years now, but her volume of work is still relatively low which means she remains fresh and unique. As always, she gives 100% to her performance which is strikingly sensual. The hunky Alex Rox is her lucky partner, and he also provides a strong and extremely stimulating effort. For some particular reason, I have always thought that Alex has one of the most appealing cocks in the business. I know that sounds like a crazy thing to say, and I can’t quite pinpoint why, so see for yourself and let me know if you agree. Powerful fucking (missionary and doggy-anal), and some reciprocal oral make this a great way to start the show.

The second scene brings us the delicious Taylor Anne in a hot white teddy, and we get to enjoy some intense masturbation courtesy of her talented fingers and rubber dildo friend. After she (and we) are warmed up, Barrett Blade makes an appearance (with that scrumptious body) and the result is as sizzling as you would expect from these two.

Next comes the almost mandatory girl-girl scene. These are generally let downs as they become pretentious and far too made-for-men, although in this film Gauge and August do a fantastic job with each other. You can see there is some genuine attraction between the two of them, even if the action itself is relatively routine. The fact that they are both absolutely stunning helps as well; they really know how to emphasise the beauty of their bodies, and how the seductiveness of their slow and passionate movements entices the viewer. Even the straightest girls will get something out of this.

Aurora Snow graces our screens in the fourth scene, and I do mean graces. Here is a woman who is both elegant and charming, with charisma to burn. Don’t let these descriptions fool you if you haven’t seen her perform before however; her sexual appetite is almost unrivalled. From a soft kitty-cat emerges a sexual lioness capable of devouring men, and in this case Jay Ashley (real life lover) is her “victim”. What I especially liked about this scene is the depth and passion of their kisses; there is genuine chemistry here, and the heat that results will leave you a quivering mess. Seeing two real-life partners with the looks and talents of these two perform is breath-taking, and for me this scene is the highlight of this DVD. The accompanying song is particularly good to drive the action and passion along, and get you fully involved. Your appreciation of sexual beauty will soar to new levels.

The fifth scene is the raging climax, and Gauge once again is the centrepiece. Her haunting and seductive green eyes are highlighted absolutely perfectly by Ninn, and become almost an extra character in the scene. Brilliantly timed editing takes us from some searing standing masturbation by Gauge to her laying on the bed being eaten alive by Joey Ray. Great oral action here, followed by some commanding fucking. Eventually we see the introduction of another fellow into the mix, and Gauge is the recipient of some double penetration joy. Many times when you see an actress in this position you will notice subtle indications that it is a little painful, or that she is not genuinely into the action. Not so with Gauge; she seems to be swept along in the passion and loves being double-filled. Rousing way to finish the show.

I can’t let this review finish without SOME gripes however. No matter how good this film is, it still falls into the cliché traps of men cumming on faces and breasts. How many times do we have to see this? I’m sure many women enjoy it, but God, it just seems so done to death to me. I also hate seeing ass-then-mouth action, which makes an appearance here. That’s just my personal hate though (and I know The Erotic Woman isn’t a big fan of it either). These little pitfalls just indicate that although Ninn Worx is taking porn to new levels of artistry, there are still some things which are yet to evolve and are still mechanically performed simply because “that’s how it is done”.

Ninn Worx is elevating porn into the realm of art and doing an absolutely fantastic job with it. The production values are completely first rate, and he is creating a genre all of his own which will appeal to both men and women (and we are a rising demographic in the market after all!). With only a very few throwbacks to porn of old, this is something entirely new. If you haven’t ever experienced a Ninn Worx production you won’t be disappointed. Check it out as soon as you can, and get ready to open your eyes to the reality of how beautiful porn/erotica can actually be.
