Body Bare Shaver

My first impression when I opened up the package to reveal my Body Bare Shaver was to wonder how something that looked like an overgrown tube of lipstick was going to help in my battle to keep my “hair down there” at bay and under control.

Like many people right around the world, I constantly battle against annoying red bumps, nicks, scrapes when I shave my pubic and pelvic hair. Waxing was too painful for me (yes, I know, what a pussy!), creams left me with chemical burns and laser treatment is well out of my price range. The old fashioned razor with all its drawbacks was my only alternative.

Well…until now. Without sounding like one of those annoying infomercials you see at 2am in the morning, the Body Bare Shaver is a God send. And I need to point out that unlike most of my reviews, I actually bought this product to solve a genuine problem I have, so the only reason I am reviewing it at all is because I know many people face the same problems I do.

It is extremely easy to use, glides comfortably over the area and leaves a great result. None of the aforementioned bumps, nicks or scrapes…it has a fine foil type covering over the actual razor to make sure you never have those problems again. The whole process is quick, effective and simple.

Where as before shaving had to be an annoying and involved ritual, I now fit a “kitty trim” into my pre-work morning routine after I get out of the shower and it has barely added 5 minutes in total…yes, I am living the dream!! I also trim before going to the beach or out on a date…you never know when you might need to show, and I feel so much more confident knowing things are under control and looking good down there.

The batteries are rechargeable and last several trims before needing to be reconnected, which is handy because I travel quite often and sometimes don’t have time to plug it in for a lengthy recharge. Oh, and I went camping in January with no access to power points for 5 days, and still managed to trim every day…you don’t think I was happy with that because I was in a bikini each day.

I paid about $50 for the Body Bare, which was at the top end of what I would pay for something that performed this job, but I have to say it was money well spent. Simply because something I found a hassle is now quick and easily handled, with excellent results.

I know not everyone likes to keep their pubic and pelvic areas shaved or even closely trimmed, but I do. I'm not into the wild and fuzzy 70's porn star look.

This product will help me do just that, solving an issue which has been bugging me for years, so I can highly recommend Body Bare!
