When porn meets reality show, Chemistry ensues. This is a very unique movie which takes porn stars out of their traditional roles and shines a very different light upon them and what they do.

The set up is basically placing seven porn stars into a house for 36 hours with no scripts, no schedules and no direction. The sex is spontaneous and dictated by the whims and wants of the actors themselves, with the cameras and crew only capturing the action, not directing it. I loved the premise and the result is fantastic, exciting and intriguing viewing.

SUPER FIVE HIGHLIGHTS

1) Mr. Marcus is one of my all time favourite male performers; his deep chocolate skin, sexy look and thick meaty black cock all beautiful fodder for my fantasies. THE WRAP

Chemistry is a unique and brilliantly made movie. There are a few times when the lighting doesn’t let you fully see what is going on, but for me that just helped the “reality” theme of the movie. And in terms of production values that was my only complaint; in keeping with the quality of Vivid and the work of Tristan Taormino, it is a very well made movie.

I got the feeling this is as it says; non scripted and non set-up. It is totally believable that the action taking place is what develops naturally amongst some attractive and highly sexual people who are placed together in one location for a day and a half. The chemistry is real and noticeable, and nothing feels forced or faked. The touch of letting the actors themselves, at times, take control of the camera to capture the action was a very nice addition and added to the whole unique and personal touch.

Also, the interviews by Tristan with the performers are excellent. They really give you an insight into the actors as real people; something which may turn some people off, but personally it just helped me connect with the cast and the movie itself. The interviews are honest and intriguing; I loved hearing about Dana confessing her nerves about performing anal sex, especially when she performs it with such passion, because I can relate to that. As a result when I watch her I appreciate her performance so much more. We get to learn that Mr. Marcus really is as cool as he seems, and that Kurt Lockwood is a hoot. Marie opens up as well about her thoughts on performing girl with girl action. This is a great way to forge a better appreciation for the people of porn and what it takes to do it.

Overall, Chemistry is brilliant. I enjoyed watching this film more than almost any other porn movie ever, simply because of the extra aspects to it. The sex is hot, and at times, filthy, but always treated with a touch of class which never lets it degenerate into something tacky. The concept is so clever and works really well; I would love to see different combinations of performers put together. The whole production is just riveting viewing. I can very highly recommend it to anyone, couples or singles.
